Carson Verhulst is a software engineer and data scientist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He's the co-founder of DigiTech Dynamics, an indie iOS app studio, and the founder of Bevolla, a web and marketing agency for tattoo studios and salons.

Carson is a Statistics major with a Computer Science minor at the University of Minnesota. Through DigiTech Dynamics he's shipped 5+ iOS apps that have collectively reached 60,000+ downloads and 5,000+ monthly active users, including Go Live Simulator (37K+ downloads), Drink Smart, FuelLab, CareerBoost, and Photo Party.

What Carson is building right now

Bevolla is Carson's newest venture — a boutique agency helping independent tattoo studios and salons own their online presence with custom-built booking sites, galleries, and admin tools. Its first client site, Jenocyde Ink, is a Next.js + Postgres booking site for a Minneapolis tattoo studio.

Carson focuses on data-driven, ML-powered products and polished side projects. He works across the stack — Swift and SwiftUI for iOS, Python and R for data, TypeScript and Next.js for web — and ships fast.
